Parttime Inventory Coordinator – Bag It Cancer
Location: Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, Tucson, AZ
Reports To: Bag It Cancer Executive Director
Job Type: Part-time, 20 hours per week. Schedule is flexible but should take place during regular business hours (Monday-Friday) and remain consistent from week to week.
Compensation: Hourly; rate based on experience, from $19 an hour

Position Overview
We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive Part-Time Inventory Coordinator to oversee the supplies and materials that go into our signature Bag It Bag. This person will track inventory, coordinate with vendors, support bag assembly and shipping, and help keep everything running smoothly and on time.
You don’t need a specific degree—but you do need strong attention to detail, good follow-through, and the ability to manage several moving pieces at once. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys logistics and wants to contribute to a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate counts of materials and finished bags across multiple warehouse locations.
- Ordering & Procurement: Reorder supplies such as printed materials, tote bags, and binders as needed to keep production moving.
- Vendor Communication: Place and track orders; maintain strong relationships with printers, suppliers, and shipping companies.
- Bag Assembly Coordination: Schedule and support volunteer groups or fulfillment partners to assemble bags; ensure consistency and quality.
- Shipping & Fulfillment: Track incoming orders and maintain fulfillment spreadsheets. Coordinate with external shipping partner to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Quality Control: Ensure all materials and assembled bags meet Bag It’s quality standards.
- Planning & Forecasting: Help anticipate future inventory needs based on order trends and program activities.
- Budget Awareness: Assist with tracking supply usage and pricing to support budgeting and cost planning.
- Efficiency Improvement: Suggest ways to streamline the process or reduce shipping/supply costs when possible.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience with inventory, logistics, fulfillment, or related work (nonprofit or small business experience a plus)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities
- Good communication skills and comfort working with vendors and volunteers
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and willingness to learn new tools
- Able to lift and move boxes (up to 30 lbs) and travel locally as needed
- Passionate about helping people and supporting Bag It’s mission
- Comfort with data tracking and/or reporting
Preferred But Not Required
- Familiarity with nonprofit environments or mission-driven work
- Experience using inventory tracking systems or tools (e.g., Sortly, Airtable, Zoho, etc.)
